Engineer Manager

Responsibilities The key responsibilities are: - Supervise and lead
engineers and technicians, plan and develop projects, and oversee
production. - Direct and coordinate production, operations, quality
assurance, testing, or maintenance in industrial plants. - Coordinate
and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and
directing the integration of technical activities. - Oversee the
research and development of new products and procedures. - Hire, train
and mentor other engineers and supporting staff. Assign, direct, and
evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of
staff competence. - Discuss and lay out project specifications. -
Review, approve, or modify process designs.Prepare budgets. -
Negotiate supplier contracts. - Plan and implement expenditures. -
Review and recommend contracts. - Develop cost estimates. - Perform
administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports,
approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about
the purchase of materials or services. - Improve manufacturing
processes and advance capabilities. - Develop and implement policies,
standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work
performed in the facility. - Verify technical accuracy of work. -
Establish administrative policies, procedures, and standards. -
Coordinate activities of engineering and production department unit
with other units or organizations. - Confer with higher levels of
management. - Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand,
to plan and asses the feasibility of projects. - Participate in
planning and directing the installation, testing, operation,
maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment. - Preset and
explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients. - Consult or
negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications. - Set
scientific and technical goals within broad outlines provided by top
management. - Communicating with people outside the organization,
presenting the organization to customers, the public, government, and
other external sources. - Serve as a backup for the process and
industrial engineer and the press foreman. - In addition to the above,
the engineering manager?s purview might include the process
engineer?s, the manufacturing engineer?s or the industrial engineer?s.
Knowledge of MS Office and MS Projects is a must. - Effective written
and verbal communication skills. - Familiarity with CAD software. -
Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively, within budget
and on scheduleBachelors degree in Engineering - 1 to 5 years
experience as Engineering Manager (preferred)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
