96,000-115,000 Defense contractor involved with product development and manufacturing of various systems for military aerospace and vehicles in the Los Angeles International Airport area.

We support many military prime contractors including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon.
Material Program Managers will act as primary liaisons between the Program Office and Supply Chain for resolution of materials issues, outside processing, and inventory.
Will report to Program Director and will support all Program Managers within the PMO as related to materials requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES Daily prioritization of materials requirements for the respective Program Office.
Work directly with Program Management and act as the primary customer contact for the Supply Chain portion of program activities.
From within the PMO, lead cross functional personnel in the identification and mitigation of risks, establishment of milestones, monitoring and adherence to integrated master plans and schedules, and identification and resolution of problems on assigned programs.
Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance for early identification of problem areas and develop/coordinate viable solutions in collaboration with Supply Chain Leadership.
Support all procurement material management activities, and lead the interface with Program Management in the resolution of technical, cost, schedule, and quality assurance problems.
Leads proposal support and teams with buyers and proposal analysts for pricing strategies and source development.
Prepares thorough estimates and plans for financial and resources that are required to manage the supply chain scope of the program through the eyes of the PMO.
SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and nine (9) years of directly related experience in an appropriate discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information.
Demonstrated skill in establishing and integrating strategies, goals and objectives and directing resources, including the ability to plan and coordinate the activities of assigned organizations and programs.
Ability to provide administrative leadership to accomplish organizational goals and commitments.
SAP experience highly desired; Competency in MS Office products to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
Professional certifications in areas such as Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Program Management, Purchasing Management, Production and Inventory Control, etc.
are not mandatory but highly desired.
Must be able to speak/read/write English.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
